Amy K is a badass, and I've invited her to think out loud with me about the concept of MENTAL FITNESS. She partners with people desiring to reach their full potential, and I have experienced firsthand her coaching magic. Listen in as we visit about mental fitness definitions, recovery time, drowning in waist deep water, and the direction we choose when we either stand up and actively move towards wellness or continue to splash around awkwardly waiting for someone to throw a rope or a bone or a dollar. Amy has mentored hundreds of people and teams since she began as a Professional Certified Coach in 2002, and her insight comes from walking side by side with humans of every sort, from C-suite executives to college students. She's got a unique style developed from a background in computer science layered with intensive work and training in communications, facilitation, strategic planning, management and leadership techniques. Amy's services include individual and group coaching, and she is the host of The Growth Moment, an awesome podcast that allows us to listen into real-time coaching sessions.
Ultimately, Amy is a friend, and she is a very smart woman for whom I have a lot of respect. She is authentic in her pursuit of her highest Self, first and foremost. She has built a business, she has raised a family, and she has kept her wits while helping so many others keep theirs within safe spaces she has carefully created. I trust her input in my own pursuit of defining and practicing mental fitness in my own life.
